capsid_read_doc
Read a document, on Capsid. Needs the read grant.
What it does
Read one document: its body, its retained versions, or the typed edges that touch it. Read-only.
What a client is told
The MCP hints it carries, so a client can ask before it acts (src/tool-annotations.ts).
- Reads only: no action changes anything.
- Never overwrites or removes.
- Repeating a call changes nothing further.
- Stays inside Capsid.
Its 3 actions
Chosen by the action argument, with a default when it is left out.
readThe document.Read a full document by namespace and path. The response carries last_actor, the actor of the most recent audit_log entry for this document, or null when there is none.
versionsIts versions, or one version's body.List the retained versions of a document (newest first) from document_versions, or fetch one body by passing version_id. Every overwrite and delete writes a snapshot, so a deleted document's history is readable. Retention is 90 days. Read-only. A version records title and body only; changes to type, status or tags are in the audit log.
Takes
namespace,path,version_id.
